Published in early 1999 by KOKUSAI TOKEN KAI STONES AND SWORDS is the first book ever written in Western languages entirely dedicated to the restoration and polishing of traditional Japanese art swords.
This book, fully bilingual, French English, presents all the steps and tools used for the restoration and polishing. Each phase is clearly illustrated with quality color photographs (taken JOUBAIN Arnault).
This monograph published as a hardcover book presents a trade still too little known in the West. It is the work of a specialized craftsman (Laurent MILHAU), which after several years of formal training in Japan has devoted much of his life to this art.
